Terms of service

Last updated: July 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Loam service operated by Ship It! Software Limited ("Company", "we", "us"). Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy before creating an account. By creating an account, accessing, or using Loam, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Accounts and analytics

When you create an account, whether paid or free, we use your account information to provide Loam, verify your identity, process payments where applicable, send necessary service communications, and provide support.

We also collect and analyse information about how the service is used so we can deliver it effectively, understand usage trends, measure signup and activation, diagnose problems, and improve Loam. Our Privacy Policy explains this product analytics processing, including the use of third-party analytics services and the association of analytics with an account after sign-in.

Creating an account does not subscribe you to optional marketing communications. If we offer such communications, we will present any required marketing choice separately from acceptance of these Terms.

Allowed usage

Loam provides a data platform for connecting your business tools, exploring datasets, and grounding AI agents in real data. You agree to comply with the policies we may adopt from time to time, including limits on the number of workspaces, datasets, and tables a user may create, the maximum size of uploaded data, and similar usage constraints. You agree not to bypass these policies by any means, including creating multiple accounts.

You agree not to reverse-compile, decompile, reverse-engineer, reverse-assemble, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying algorithms of Loam, or attempt to do any of the foregoing in relation to the Loam service.

Limitation of liability

We do not make backups of your datasets for data protection reasons. We are not liable for damages caused by using our service.

While we try to ensure that our service is error-free, we cannot guarantee that your files will not be damaged, deleted, or lost. You acknowledge that you have a copy of all files, and Loam will not be responsible for any failure caused by data sent to Loam.

While we try to ensure that our service is error-free, we cannot guarantee the correctness of all functionality, including data syncing, queries, and AI-generated insights. You acknowledge that this service may have errors, and Loam will not be responsible for any failure caused by using Loam functionality.

Loam is not liable to you or anyone else for any loss of use, data, goodwill, or profits, whether or not foreseeable, and any special, incidental, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever arising from any claim arising out of your use of the Loam service.

Termination

You may stop using Loam at any time. Termination of your account does not relieve you of any obligation to pay any outstanding fees.

We may, at any time, terminate your right to use and access the Loam service if you breach any provision of these Terms, if you fail to make timely payment, or if we are required to do so by law. We reserve the right to close your account with 30 days’ notice if it does not make sense for us to continue business with you for commercial reasons.

We may change, update, or discontinue parts of the service or the service in its entirety without liability to you or anyone else. If we discontinue Loam in its entirety, we will notify you at least 30 days prior to termination.
