Run SQL on your own CSV or TSV and inspect every result.
Drop a CSV or TSV and write SQL against it in your browser. The result comes from your rows, and the query stays visible so you can inspect it. Your file contents are not uploaded to Loam. To ask questions in plain English, use the separate CSV and TSV chat tool and upload the file there again.
Drop a .csv or .tsv file here to start querying
Your file contents are parsed in your browser and are not uploaded to Loam.
How the SQL playground works
Drop a CSV or TSV file, or use the sample, and the playground loads it into a SQLite table in your browser. Column types are inferred automatically. Write any SQL in the editor and hit Run, or press Ctrl+Enter. The result is shown in a sortable, filterable table that you can export as CSV.
Querying more than one file? Each CSV or TSV becomes its own table, so you can JOIN across them, run aggregations, and filter with WHERE clauses. Standard SQLite syntax is supported, including window functions and CTEs.
The query is evidence you can inspect
A plausible result is not enough when the number matters. Here, every result is produced by the SQL shown in the editor. Read the query, compare it with what you meant to calculate, and rerun it against the same rows. That visible path from query to result is one part of grounding. It helps you check the calculation before you use the number.
Do not want to write SQL yourself? Use the separate Text to SQL tool to generate a query from pasted table and column definitions. Review the generated SQL before running it in your own database.
When you need a quick SQL playground
You have a CSV export from your CRM, a data dump from an API, or a spreadsheet extract. You need to filter, aggregate, or join it with another file. Setting up a database may be more work than you need for a quick check. This playground lets you run SQLite queries in your browser, with the query and result visible together.
If you want to keep a file and connect your AI to it, start with Loam. Upload the file separately there, then connect your AI to the data you choose.
